ID: 53483900 Shift: 07:00-19:00 Description: Profile Radiation Oncology (Outpatient) RadOnc Building: Sarah Cannon, Level B Unit Name: RadOnc, Radiation Number of Beds: outpatient clinic, 8 exam rooms Cost Center: 764 Patient Ratios: 30-40 daily treats; 10-30 clinic visits/day Manager: Hope Sanford General Information Unit Specifics: Unit description- department is composed of front desk staff assistants (2), radiation therapists (7), nurses (4), Clinical NurseCoordinator (1), Chief Therapist (1), Director (1), medical physicists (2-3), APPs and MDs. We have two beam-matched Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators for external radiation treatments. We also have a new 2022 GE CT simulator, dedicated brachytherapy suite with GE CT sim, 8 clinic exam rooms, 4 of which are specialized for radiopharmaceutical infusions. Two therapists treat per machine, with 1-2 in CT sim and a potential floater.
