Bartender – Pre-Opening

YEZI Restaurant & Teahouse is bringing a social fine dining experience to art’otel Rome Piazza Sallustio. If you know art’otel, you know we like to do things differently. Our guests come to us for something that goes beyond their usual hotel expectations, and that’s what you’ll be delivering as one of our Bartender. Your approach to the job will be inspired by your authentic style and self - always ready with care and attention, a great recommendation, a tip that only you could give. We’re looking for passionate individuals to help us craft unforgettable moments through exceptional service, creativity, and attention to detail. Responsibilities: You’ll be responsible for maintaining the highest standard of service at all times. You’ll ensure compliance with our restaurant policies, brand standards, and performance standards, particularly the Bar’s floor’s policies. You’ll maintain a well-stocked bar, notifying the right team members when levels are low. You’ll attend any meetings or training courses required by the Head of Department. You’ll welcome customers, read and listen to people to determine beverage preferences, make recommendations, and take drink orders. You’ll assist in planning drink menus and inform customers about new beverages and specials. You’ll assist in selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers. You’ll adhere to all food safety and quality regulations. You’ll handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register. You’ll maintain a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment. You’ll assist in developing new cocktail recipes. What you bring: You’re a stickler for hygiene and safety standards in beverage preparation, ensuring adherence to our guidelines and conducting regular inspections of our bar areas. You’re a considerate and supportive team player, helping out wherever needed. You know how to care for furniture, fixtures, and equipment within all areas and report any malfunctions for maintenance. You’re ready to pitch in and carry out any other duties and tasks assigned by the Head of Department depending on the needs of the restaurant. There’s a lot more to this job than we’ve given you here – don’t worry, we’ll fill you in on everything before you begin. We might also add other similar responsibilities on a temporary or permanent basis, depending on the needs of YEZI.
