PMS( Property Management System ) Specialist A great opportunity to join as a PMS specialist at a Luxury 5 star hotel in Lake Como Area Italy PMS Specialist (Expert in Opera and Symphony part) APMSSpecialist is responsible for the management and optimization of the Property Management System (PMS) used by a hotel chain. This role is crucial to ensure that thePMSworks efficiently and that all operations related to property management are performed without a hitch. Here are the main duties of aPMSSpecialist: •PMSConfiguration and Maintenance: Installation and Configuration: Install and configure thePMSin all properties of the hotel chain. • System Updates: ManagePMSupdates and patches to ensure that the software is always up to date with the latest features and security fixes. • Staff Training: Train hotel staff on the use of thePMS, including new features and best practices. • Ongoing Support: Provide ongoing support to staff to resolve issues and answer questions about the use of thePMS. • Collaboration with External Support: Collaborate with thePMSvendor's technical support to resolve complex issues and implement solutions. • Integration with Other Systems: Integrate thePMSwith other business systems, such as the online reservation management system (Booking Engine), CRM (Customer Relationship Management), ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and POS (Point of Sale Symphony). • Data Management: Ensure data flows correctly between thePMSand other systems, ensuring data integrity and consistency. • Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge ofPMSsystems commonly used in the hospitality industry (e.g. Opera, Fidelio, Protel, etc.), Ability to resolve technical issues and provide IT support. Experience in system integration and data management. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and training skills.
