Executive Chef – Portrait Firenze

We currently have an opportunity for a talented Executive Chef to be part of Portrait Firenze team. Reporting into the corporate F&B Director, the Executive Chef is accountable for overall success of the daily kitchen operations, including in room dining, bar and events. Responsibilities will include selection, talent management and development of our culinary team, planning and developing menus, food costs, banquet events, hygiene and sanitation, effective planning, purchasing decisions, and inventory control. Supervises all kitchen areas to ensure a consistent, high-quality product is produced. Works to continually improve guest satisfaction while maximizing the financial performance in all areas of responsibility. Requirements: • Previous experience in similar positions with Italian and international cuisine – all day dining including breakfast • Luxury hotel experiences, international background is highly preferred • Strong management skills • Knowledgeable of food safety regulations (HACCP) • Excellent knowledge of English We also require passion, enthusiasm, customer orientation, and a good attitude with a smile.
