PR and F&B Sales Specialist - Excelsior Hotel Gallia

Job Summary The F&B Sales Specialist will report directly to the Director of Sales. He/She is a cross-functional figure who will be in contact with most of the offices, but mainly with Sales, Marketing, and F&B, SPA. He/She will be in charge of promoting events at the Excelsior Hotel Gallia and the offers in the Hotel, F&B, and SPA, like new menus, holidays, and special events. The market target will mainly be the local community. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate has at least 1-2 years of experience in PR, Communication, or Sales, preferably in the local market and with local luxury brands as he/she will be working on-site. A great desire to grow, be hands-on, and learn as much as possible from the local environment will be considered a plus. He/She has a strong capability to work autonomously, strong communication skills, creativity, proactivity, and interest in the Luxury Hospitality industry. Job Responsibilities In support of all departments, the F&B Sales Specialist will be responsible for: Promoting Hotel Events Connecting with our chefs and F&B Team to keep up to date with new special menus Analyzing the local market to find new ways to promote the hotel Liaising with the sales and marketing department to study new strategies Liaising with the F&B Director to keep abreast of the F&B world (news, suppliers, events) Liaising with the SPA Team to plan and implement new selling strategies Marriott International is an equal opportunity employer.
