Dental/Vision/Life Insurance Job Details Job Details: We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and passionate Permanent SDS/PACU RN to join our dynamic healthcare team. As an SDS/PACU RN, you will be responsible for providing top-quality care and recovery assistance to patients who have undergone surgical procedures, including general, orthopedic, plastic, ophthalmic, and oral surgeries. You will work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, and will need to be able to make quick decisions in high-stress situations. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity for career growth and advancement. Responsibilities: Provide pre and post-operative care to patients, monitoring vital signs, and administering prescribed medications. Evaluate patients' post-operative status at regular intervals and respond to changes in patient condition. Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth transition of care from the operating room to the recovery room. Educate patients and their families on post-operation care, potential complications, and methods to promote health and wellness post-surgery. Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records of patients' health histories and the care provided. Adhere to all necessary nursing and medical procedures, rules, and regulations. Participate in professional development activities and maintain current knowledge of advancements in the field. Qualifications: A valid RN license is required. Minimum of 6 months of experience as an RN is required. Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures. In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination, etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times. A compassionate and approachable personality, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients and their families. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent physical condition and stamina. The ability to handle high-stress situations and make decisions quickly. The ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
