Job Description
We are hiring a DIRECTOR OF FINANCE for Thompson Rome , an elegant and modern 5 in the centre of Rome scheduled to open in the second half of 2025. The Director of Finance at Thompson Rome will be responsible for managing all aspects of finance and control and, according to key management, will coordinate the team to best achieve the objectives. Key Responsibilities Support financial planning and decision-making by developing profit strategies and monitoring the budget; Analyse financial data and market trends to optimise the financial performance of the hotel; Deploy control systems for risk management and ensure compliance with regulations; Lead the finance team through leadership, effective communication and performance management; Ensure compliance with accounting procedures, cash flow management and profitability monitoring; Coordinate internal and external audit efforts, ensuring financial transparency; Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including owners and investors, to ensure strategic and operational alignment. Requirements for the Position Excellent leadership and team management skills; Strong problem-solving orientation and analytical skills; Experience in financial management of hotel openings; Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly and persuasively.
