Projects Manager (Contract) x2

A wonderful company based in Cape Town is seeking a Project Manager x 2 Duties: Continuously monitor the compliance by the site management of the Health and Safety Plan. Monitor the implementation of the requirements of the Environmental Management Plan. Receive, co-ordinate, review and obtain approval of all contract documentation provided by the subcontractors and suppliers for compliance with all of the contract requirements. Agree and monitor issue and distribution of construction documentation Continuously monitor the compliance of the quality of the works in accordance with the agreed Quality Assurance Plan. Regularly conduct and record the necessary construction management meetings including subcontractors, suppliers, programme, progress and cost meetings Regularly monitor performance of the contractor against the construction programme Prepare and agree Information Schedule for timeous implementation of construction. Continuously manage the review of construction documentation and information for clarity of construction requirements. Manage and administer the distribution of construction information to all relevant parties. Continuously monitor the construction progress Manage the review and approval of all necessary shop details and product proprietary information by the design subcontractors. Regularly prepare and submit a Project Managers Status Report, including construction procurement information progress. Manage and co-ordinate the requirements of the direct contractors if required to do so. Manage, co-ordinate and monitor all necessary testing and commissioning. Co-ordinate, monitor and expedite the timeous rectification of all defects for the achievement of Practical Completion. Requirements: Matric(Grade 12) B Tech or BSc in Building or a related field Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering SACPCMP Registration Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management Experience working on large projects, preferably in the hospitality industry. Candidates with experience in commercial or retail projects are also considered. Candidates should have experience dealing with contractors and managing various areas of refurbishment such as public areas, rooms, back of house, or external areas. Must have your own laptop and Cellphone Computer Literacy: MS Office (Outlook,Excel)
