Job Title: Vascular Interventional Radiology Technologist Job Specialty: Interventional Radiology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30); every other holiday Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years (may consider 1 year experience but must have Level I or Level II trauma experience) License: Must hold Ohio Department of Health radiologic license; ARRT or current equivalent certification Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: - Graduate of an accredited radiography program - Competency as an assistant to the Interventional Radiologist for minimally invasive, image-guided vascular procedures Job Description: - Operate imaging equipment including fluoroscopy, computed tomography (CT), and ultrasound - Assist in roles such as scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating during procedures - Perform common procedures such as abdominal aortograms with runoff, fistulagrams, carotid angios, and EVARs - Operate fluoroscopic equipment and a C-arm - Manage a typical daily caseload of approximately 20 patients - Understand the use of Philips Epiq 7G, Parks Flo-Lab 2100SX, PenVasc reporting software, and Epic/CareConnect EMR - Work in a department with two endovascular suites, as well as open procedure operating rooms - Participate in 16 hours of orientation and complete pre-start modules averaging 12 hours Additional Information: - Weekday on-call schedule up to 2 days per week; weekend call every 3rd weekend - Applicants' permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from the central facility location to be eligible - Must have completed necessary lab work within 72 hours of signing on Ensure that all submissions meet requirements for background checks and travel compliance before applying.
