About The Role The Central Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for planning, managing and evaluating construction maintenance, plumbing and installations for the entire plant and properties. Weekly pay Annual Target Bonus Group health and insurance benefits Company pension matching after 1 year Onsite Cafeteria Discount at our Chicken Shop Opportunities for career advancement A culture that values humility, a respect for family and hard work What You Will Be Doing Responsible for designing, planning, scheduling, assigning, participating in and inspecting the work of employees, trades helpers and outside contractors Perform supervisory duties of all aspects of construction, installation, maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities Provide technical support and knowledge, including resolving equipment issues and working towards increasing equipment reliability Organize and supervise the activities and work of a team of subordinates to ensure that all assigned work activity is carried out in an efficient and procedurally compliant manner Provide formal and informal feedback to subordinates to ensure their continuous development Promote and comply with all Maple Lodge Farms Health & Safety, Quality Assurance, and Environmental Management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment. Other duties as assigned What You Will Bring At least 10 years of experience in the CM Trade. Preferably in a food Experience processing or manufacturing environment. Knowledge of job estimation, and fabrication Must possess mechanical aptitude and a strong ability to prioritize tasks and assess risks. Welding experience Working knowledge of food and meat plant regulatory standards (CFIA, etc.), GMP, HACCP, BRC, food safety, food quality, etc. Working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), WHMIS Analytical, with problem-identification and problem-solving capabilities Knowledge of process improvement tools Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and effective multi-tasking is essential Computer literacy (MS Office) Maple Lodge Farms was established in 1955.
