About the Company An award winning fit out contractor who deliver traditional fit out and refurb schemes, turnkey design & build projects, and education refurbishments. They specialise in full office and work space CAT A and CAT B fit outs, and have delivered some flagship schemes for blue chip clients in the Midlands. Project values range from £5m - £100m with durations ranging from 10 – 80 weeks. About the Role Based at Head Office in Birmingham with site visits as appropriate. Carry out Quantity Surveyor duties on fit out, refurbishment schemes for key clients in the Office, Education, Commercial, Hospitality & Leisure sectors. You will join a close knit team of dedicated professionals, working together to deliver projects on time and within budget, reporting to the Commercial Director of the division. QS Role includes:- Control of cost and value Subcontractor procurement, payment and management Valuations Variations and Final Account Monthly management reporting Protection of the company’s commercial interests Working closely with the project team to enable project delivery/success What you Need to Succeed Educated to a Degree level in Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management Experience in working on high value CAT A and CAT B Fit out projects Office Fitout, build or refurbishment experience Strong negotiating skills and ability to work as part of an ambitious and successful team What You'll get in Return Competitive salary package including Health care, 25 days holidays Pension Death in service
