ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES Primary Responsibilities Assist the Director of Accreditation & Access Management in the strategy and execution of plans during the concurring planning and delivery phases of Milano-Cortina 2026 and any ancillary events. Facilitate a smooth split of responsibilities with the Director of Accreditation & Access Management, ensuring physical attendance at crucial meetings or site visits when necessary and maintain effective communication and coordination between teams in both locations. Allow staff rotation with the Director of Accreditation & Access Management ensuring adequate coverage for extended hours and capacity to attend late meetings with On Location colleagues working at different time zones. Liaise with On Location Technology to ensure OL Accreditation System is properly customised to allow a smooth Accreditation Application Process for On Location staff and vendors. Liaise with On Location Legal FA to ensure that internal systems used to capture personal data for the creation of accreditations are fully compliant with all relevant data protection laws and On Location policies. Define, in liaison with On Location Workforce team, an Accreditation Privilege Matrix which ensures smooth access and operations for On Location staff and vendors operationally involved in Milano-Cortina 2026 Games. Lead and manage a dedicated team of Accreditation staff and liaise with existing On Location resources for seamless, efficient and high-performing integration and coordination for specific projects and tasks. Perform thorough assessments of (Out of Venue Hospitality - OVH) venue layouts, identifying key access points and potential accreditation/access challenges. Devise OVH accreditation zoning plans, access rights matrix and request processes accordingly, in order to ensure seamless access to all On Location controlled venues and spaces for accredited staff. Conduct on-site visits at In Venue Hospitality (IVH), if required, and OVH Lounges for in-depth understanding and planning of accreditation and access control processes. Liaise with the relevant On Location for the procurement, collection of requests and distribution of any credentials or access devices to control access to On Location venues. Develop in agreement with the relevant On Location comprehensive request and distribution policies & procedures for efficient deployment. Work with the On Location Security team to coordinate the operational planning and ensure that security staff are briefed on credentials and zoning, access devices, and relevant policies and procedures. REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Experience working in multiple Olympic Games or other similar global events (FWC, RWC, CWG, etc.) with one or more of the relevant functional areas listed above in the competence of this position. Excellent computer skills with high proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite. Several years of experience managing guest registration and credentialing for large-scale global events or hospitality programs. Several years of experience with accreditation and/or registration systems and databases. Experience in managing a cross-cultural team of event professionals within a matrix environment. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and manage concurrent priorities. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, particularly in the context of event planning and management. Fluent in English. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proactive in identifying areas where support can be provided to meet deadlines.
