THE ROLE The Product Build Specialist is primarily responsible for supporting the On Location Olympic and Paralympic proprietary inventory and content management system(s) and 3rd party tools, acting as the first line of defense regarding any systems issues and requests. The Coordinator works closely with product teams and other internal functional areas at the guidance of their manager to create a positive and efficient environment focused on developing and maintaining processes, inventory, and product management in our systems and operations. The Coordinator will be focused on the needs related to product sales, inventory management, content management, commerce solutions and more. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES Primary Responsibilities Maintain continuous knowledge of internal workflow processes and technologies, specifically proprietary inventory and content management system(s) and 3rd party tools. Act as the first line of defense and provide resolution of issues raised by product teams and other functional areas related to processes, inefficiencies, technologies, and systems. Extensive use of product system(s) and 3rd party tools to build and manage product offerings, inventory, system portals and extract data for operations. Liaise and collaborate with product and technology teams to build and maintain inventory, products, content, bookings, and portals in systems. Apply critical thinking skills to analyze and independently resolve internal and external issues regarding all product systems, portals and tools. Assist in creating and maintaining new processes that identify opportunities to streamline procedures that directly impact productivity. Support in testing system enhancements; clearly communicate and identify further developments needed that further support the accommodation team and others. Identify, understand, and remove systematic roadblocks for product and other functional areas. Execute all other duties assigned by the team or leadership. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Required Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Bachelor’s degree in project management, Technology, Business Operations or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred. Speaking English is mandatory. Preferred Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Experience with multiple technologies and proprietary system development related to point-of-sale solutions, inventory management, and data analytics. Exceptional interpersonal skills – a collaborative style and ability to communicate effectively at all levels with strong oral, written, and presentation skills. Excellent time-management, organizational skills. Excellent situational analysis and decision-making skills. Experience in project management and/or business operations. Experience working with multiple technology and software platforms, including but not limited to Salesforce, Jira, Airtable, and other digital collaboration systems.
