No Offer Description The research activities will be part of the Interreg AMMIRARE project, funded for the period 2024-2027, in which the LABIMA research group is developing a tool for simulating the eco-morphodynamics of sandy beaches in the presence of ecological vegetation components. Specifically, the candidate's activities will focus on applying numerical modeling to simulate the interaction phenomena between Posidonia (rooted or floating) and wave motion, as well as the transport and stranding of Posidonia leaves near the coast, even under climate change scenarios. The use of in-house developed numerical models available at LABIMA and/or other open-source numerical codes (e.g. REEF3D, TELEMAC, SWASH) is expected.
