Our client in Monterey, TN is seeking entry level Packers to join their team Come work for a company that values their employees as important members of the team These positions have the potential to be temp to hire after 90 days These are immediate start positions. Pay starts at $15.05 per hour. The hours and days of work are established as needed by operations and at the direction of management with two 30-minute unpaid breaks per shift. Monday – Saturday, Sunday and holidays are scheduled as needed by management. Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a working knowledge of equipment in order to make adjustments as needed to ensure product quality. Be able to write out catch weight sheets. Perform and accurately record quality check on the product to ensure food safety. Be able to operate tow motor, electric jacks, and pallet jacks. Need to be trained in HACCP, tow motor and hand jack safety, lockout tag-out procedures’ chemical safety and fully cooked ready to eat safety. Be able to operate tape machines. Be responsible for taping cases closed, placing cases neatly on skid, code date properly, wrapping and transfer full skids to shipping. Keep work area clean.
