Job Description Job Description Overview POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Assistant Casino Operations Manager, the incumbent is responsible for providing superior service to both the internal and external guest. The incumbent is also responsible for building relationships with players and acts as a mentor to team members to build their player development skills. Manages staff and resources, related to Table Game Operations, on an assigned, shift ensuring compliance with established regulations. INDEEDROCKFORD $2,000 Sign-On Bonus Responsibilities ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (These functions are intended as a general illustration of the work performed in this job classification and are not all inclusive for this position) Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Casino Rockford their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior guest service. Directly supervises dealer responsibilities in accordance with the company policies and procedures. Develop Table Games team members to provide superior service to our guests. Responsibilities include training team members, planning, assigning, and directing work. Interviews and makes hiring decisions to fill open positions. Appraising performance, rewards, and disciplining team members. Addressing complaints and resolving problems. Rating and tracking guests play. Assist guests in obtaining a marker. Making sure buy-ins are correct. Insures adherence to all IGB gaming regulations and statues. NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Attend seminars when needed. KNOWLEDGE OF: Pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations. Hard Rock operations. Policies and procedures as well as knowledge of and ability to identify various cheating techniques. ABILITY TO: Interpret and explain policies and procedures. Observe and direct actions of subordinates/trainees. Calculate figures and create and manipulate spreadsheets to produce reports. Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public. Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations. Be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed. Qualifications EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: (Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis) High School Diploma required. Three years table games experience required. Two years in a Dual-Rated management level capacity or above is preferred. Must be knowledgeable in all primary casino games and most secondary games. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.): Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Board. Must successfully pass background check. Must be twenty-one (21) years of age. Prior experience in the Gaming industry strongly preferred.
