Job Description Job Description Salary: $60,000-$80,000 Auto-Chlor System, a leading provider of reliable customer service and exceptional cleaning products for over 80 years, is seeking a skilled Maintenance/Engineering Technician to join our plant in Memphis, TN. What's in it for you: Reports to the Technical Director - Equipment, this position is responsible for building maintenance, manufacturing improvement projects and creating prototype dish machines and components from CAD drawings and conceptualized drawings/ideas generated from management and the field. Collaborates with engineering, production and field personnel on product design projects. Collaborates with co-workers to identify and correct facility maintenance needs. Guaranteed 40hrs.: Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-4:00 pm Compensation:Earn $60,000 - $80,000 annually. Responsibilities: Perform general plant maintenance for the dish machine manufacturing plant including plumbing, electrical and mechanical repairs. Use required skills to build prototype commercial dish washing machines and other equipment. Provide technical troubleshooting expertise via phone to field service personnel. Conduct tests on various electrical and mechanical components of commercial dish washing machines and chemical dispensing equipment. Record data and information obtained during testing program, and summarize test results and conclusions, ability to interpret prints and develop sketches and compile technical reports. Create maintenance instructions for use by field service technicians. Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned, supporting the R&D functions. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Industrial/Commercial machinery repair, plumbing, electrical circuits and methods, electronics, and associated building codes Electrical circuit design and trouble shooting Metal and plastic machining Sheet metal fabrication Welding Blueprint Reading Good written and verbal communication Computer skills including email and Microsoft office products CAD skills/experience (Autodesk Inventor preferred) Experience within the food service industry preferred but not required Multi-tasking ability to work on several projects as time permits Physical Requirements: This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching and climbing Must be able to lift 70 lbs.
