Projects are predominantly located in London and Kent, with occasional travel required outside these areas. Position: Mechanical Project Manager & Senior Mechanical Project Manager Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 (depending on experience) Benefits: Car or car allowance Bonus scheme Opportunity for professional growth Location: Primarily London and Kent, with occasional travel outside the area as required. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage mechanical packages (ventilation, plumbing, and air-conditioning) for fast-paced shop fit-out projects. Plan, coordinate, and execute projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to maintain strong working relationships and ensure smooth project delivery. Lead and manage project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all stakeholders. Monitor and control project budgets, reporting progress and financial updates to senior management. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, as well as industry regulations and company procedures. Travel to project sites as required, primarily within London and Kent, but occasionally further afield. Essential Skills and Experience Proven track record in mechanical project management, ideally within the shop fit-out or hospitality sector. Strong technical knowledge of ventilation, plumbing, and air-conditioning systems. Experience managing projects ranging from £20k to £2m in value. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate multiple teams. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Proficiency in project management software and tools. A full UK driving license is essential. Desirable Skills (Senior Mechanical Project Manager) Experience managing larger, more complex projects or multiple projects simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to mentor and support junior project managers or other team members. What We Offer Competitive salary of £60,000 to £75,000, based on experience.
