Job Description

As Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll be accountable for delivering hires and proactively identifying, developing and delivering recruitment strategies into defined business unit/s via collaboration with hiring managers and other stakeholders. This includes recruiting a mix of high volume soft services facilities roles (Cleaning Operatives, Caretakers, Catering etc) along with Commercial Maintenance Engineer/Supervisor/Manager and support function roles. You'll be part of a small team of Talent Acquisition Specialists who report into our Talent Acquisition Manager. Location Hybrid - as a guide: 2-3 days per week Home based 1 day a week: Central London or Birmingham office (by the NEC/International Airport) 2 days per month: pre-planned visits to sites/ offices within assigned regions - to include the North West, South East, East Anglia and Midlands. Hours of Work Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, typically 8.30/9am -5/5.30pm The Role Managing the recruitment of assigned roles inc; taking detailed role briefings from our Talent Acquisition Manager/ Hiring Managers, proactively, directly sourcing candidates using a variety of methods including networking, referrals, social media, LinkedIn, job boards and other platforms; conducting candidate screening, arranging interviews, providing candidate feedback, delivering verbal offers Building talent pools/ pipelining for regularly recruited roles, keeping candidates 'warm' Partnering your designated Sectors, to truly understand their challenges, formulating and delivering appropriate initiatives Building relationships with key stakeholders within Sectors and support functions at all levels, through collaborative working arrangements and regular communication Delivering a great candidate experience by being a Dalkia Facilities Brand Ambassador Advising and guiding hiring teams on recruitment matters including upskilling/ delivering training Developing knowledge of and advising on talent, competitors and recruitment markets Attending careers fairs, schools outreach etc, promoting Dalkia and facilities careers in the wider community Working closely with the Head of Talent Acquisition to support continuous improvement, developing/delivering recruitment projects and strategic initiatives Requirements: Experience of recruiting high volume and specialist, operational roles in a relevant sector (e.g. facilities, catering and hospitality, healthcare, logistics) Full valid UK driving licence and own transport is essential due to our office locations Experience of delivering recruitment projects/ added value activities beyond filling vacancies Knowledge of a range of recruitment and selection methods and assessment techniques Understanding of systems for managing recruitment e.g. ATS Planning, action orientation and results driven Quality orientation Engaging Excellent oral and written communication Flexibility and resilience High degree of personal motivation Team worker Listening skills Working for Dalkia Facilities gives you access to a wide variety of benefits including: Bonus based on personal and team performance Holidays – 25 days plus birthday day off, increasing with length of service, plus Bank Holidays with the option to purchase an additional 5 days leave per annum via our Flexible Benefits Scheme Life assurance – 2x basic salary Company pension scheme, 6-8% match Private Medical Insurance Single Cover on completion of 12 month' service, with the opportunity to pay for additional cover for partner/dependants Flexible Benefits Scheme – including eye care voucher, store discounts for major retailers, salary sacrifice electric car vehicle lease scheme, personal IT equipment loans, impartial financial/savings guidance Access to wellbeing programmes Company Sick Pay Employee recognition programmes which reward exceptional achievements Employee Referral bonus with generous bonuses for ‘referring a friend’ The opportunity to use one working day per year volunteering to help the local community Employee Assistance Programme - free, confidential 24/7 365 support on all lifestyle matters Personal and Professional Development You'll have the opportunity to create a personal development plan which promotes both personal and professional growth, through relevant training programs, on the job training, coaching and mentoring.
