Job Title: Chartered Surveyor Department: Asset Valuation Services Location: London (hybrid) - 4 days in the office, 1 day from home About the Team Beach Baker are recruiting for one of the UK's recognised Property Consultancies. The Asset Valuation Services team is a key part of a core national valuation offering, recognised for its expertise in valuing diverse property estates across the UK. Advising on property asset valuations exceeding £8 billion annually, the team provides insights into the challenges and opportunities inherent in property holdings. With over 70 years of combined experience, the team has a strong track record in delivering financial reporting valuations and providing valuations for a variety of clients within the public and quasi-public sectors. As experienced auditor's experts, the team understands both sides of the audit process, enabling them to deliver concise, supportable advice that withstands audit scrutiny. Their technical expertise and experience allow them to deliver independent, robust, and auditable valuations that meet financial reporting requirements. Surveyor: Undertaking valuation instructions. Playing an active role in growing the Asset Valuation business across the UK. The team currently consists of three Directors and two Associate Directors, offering candidates an opportunity to learn and collaborate with an experienced group of professionals. Main Tasks Assisting with Asset Valuation instructions on a national level. Conducting site and property inspections under supervision. Performing due diligence related to valuation inputs. Providing high-quality, professional support to the team. Building a network of clients and personal contacts. Managing relationships with clients and others in the local property market. Representing the team and promoting the range of property-related services available. Carrying out any additional duties appropriate to the role.
