Multi Skilled Engineer - Electrical Biased Location: Bristol, BS16 1EJ Hours of work: 40 Contract Type: Permanent We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Multi skilled Engineer to provide mechanical, electrical, and building services engineering maintenance at a client property. This role involves fault finding, repairs, routine maintenance, and installations across the client’s site. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of these impressive facilities, which consist of two buildings with a mix of electrical and office environments. Job Description Your primary responsibility will be to deliver electrical PPM, as well as proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk, all within set timeframes to exceed customer expectations. Additionally, you will undertake other building services maintenance tasks, including basic fabric work, HVAC, mechanical systems, and related activities. Key Responsibilities Responsibility for electrical PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are exceeded Responsibility for other types of building services maintenance to include basic fabric, HVAC, mechanical and related tasks Provide callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota Undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met Ensure that all electrical equipment within scope operates to specified performance criteria Ensure equipment and surrounding area conforms to agreed company standards Provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction Evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out Take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary Be fully aware of contractual requirements and customer needs at all times Ensure that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents / records are maintained accurately Ensure compliance with H&S regulations, risk assessment, COSHH etc Suggest improvements and innovations to improve the service provided Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications Experience in providing electrical building services maintenance to include fault finding, maintenance, installation and inspection/testing Significant previous experience in providing reactive and PPM building services maintenance Experience of working within FM or building services within commercial properties preferred Experience of working under strict Health & Safety procedures including risk assessments and method statements City & Guilds 2365, 2357 Level 3 and NVQ 2356 AM2 City and Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation and NVQ 2356 and AM2 City and Guilds 236/2360 In Electrical Installations part 1&2 The Company ISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
