Contract Sales Manager We are looking for an exceptional individual to join with a genuine passion for lighting and furniture, working with our key contract clients (Architects, Specifiers, Interior Designers and other B2B clients). As Contract Sales Manager you will develop and drive The Tom Dixon direct Contract Sales business in the UK and Ireland market. You will demonstrate strong commercial objectives and the ability to exceed sales and profit targets and drive a culture of new prospect acquisition, through your existing contacts and your superb networking ability. This is a full-time role based in London. Our Story Established in 2002, Tom Dixon is a British design and manufacturing brand with a commitment to innovation. We design, develop and sell extraordinary objects and spaces for everyday contract use, including lighting, furniture and accessories. The company has a well-established global contract customer base (Hospitality, Offices & Public Spaces) which has developed strongly over recent years, and this is planned to continue over the next 5 years. The company has offices in London and New York, and launches new collections bi-annually at the Milan Furniture Fair, 3 Days of Design, London Design Fesitval and various innovative global events. More information about us can be found at www.tomdixon.net . About the Role Day to day responsibility for managing the portfolio of existing and new contract clients. You will be responsible for: The Numbers – Full responsibility to deliver Contract Sales by developing client acquisition and trading activities in line with the strategic plan. You will analyse sales, report on KPI’s and work closely with the trade sales team. Client Experience - Lead the development of a contract client centric experience from analysing data insights and continuously improving client conversion by improving the engagement and overall experience by fostering world class relationships, that most likely cross international borders where the clients have international business or potential. Aftercare and Repeat Business/ongoing Relationship Management - Responsible for developing, influencing and managing the aftercare and follow up principles and processes to ensure that contract client satisfaction and lifetime value are the most important KPI’s to achieve and exceed. About You The successful candidate must be an experienced driven contract sales professional working within the contract sales market, already delivering proven results from their own portfolio of trade professional accounts and strong network. More specifically: A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar sales role Knowledge of the contract market with a strong network of contacts in the industry Superb communication and negotiation skills and highly numerate and literate, in written English. You naturally ignite great rapport with people and adapt your style to all levels Exceptional negotiator with proven client management skills and experiences Proven ability to make commercially focussed decisions, with the ability to close a deal. The ability to work closely with and influence cross-functional internal teams, making your clients the centre of attention.
