Area Sales Manager

· Premium Tea & Coffee, part of Italian Group operating in 40 countries. · 5 days on the road - Field Sales · £35,000 to £40,000 per annum with £10k OTE Company & Role: You will be joining a Tea & Coffee Merchant that has been established since 1867 as the Sales Manager - South to drive growth in existing accounts and new business. Products you would selling includes Coffee Machines, a range of Coffee Blends, Tea, Luxury Chocolate (we have a chocolate room in the UK) and Scottish Cakes. Key Responsibilities New Client Opportunities Prospecting - identifying opportunities and possible new channels. Develop and execute a strategy to increase distribution within the territory. Identify and attend networking opportunities/trade events. Manage area database of prospect customers. Campaign in major prospect customers to win business. 5 qualified accounts per week. Existing Clients Ensure appropriate call frequency by customer. Deliver customer coverage as per determined service levels to structured journey plan. Increased product distribution to existing customers (up-sell, cross-sell, and promotional activations). Manage account trading terms (MOQ's, RTR's, contract duration) to the benefit of both parties. Maximise return from equipment/marketing investments. Requirements Right to Work in the UK. Full Driving License Field sales experience Experience within hot beverage / hospitality industry Existing industry professional network / contacts Would consider other suitable background that have sold to similar industries / decision makers. Ability to work autonomously and ensure customer retention remains a priority. Salary & Benefits Package Starting salary is £35,000per annum to £40,000 per annum. £10,000 on target earning.
