The role… Job Title: Assistant Catering Manager School Location: Westonbirt School, GL8 Working Days: Predominately Tuesday to Saturday (every third week Monday-Friday) Shifts & Working hours: usually 11.00am - 7.30pm (40 hours per week) with flexibility needed Working Weeks: 52 weeks per year (5.6 weeks holiday to be taken in line with the business - site closed over Christmas ) Pay Details: £30,160 per year Benefits: Free meals on shift, uniform, pension and other great company benefits This role forms a pivotal part of the onsite catering management team. Reporting into the site General Manager you will work closely with the Deputy Manager to oversee the smooth running of all events onsite. From match day teas to formal sit down dinners you will be part of the event every step of the way. This role is all about attention to detail, you will lead from the front, making sure standards are exceptional. As a people person you will forge strong relationships with all onsite, from pupils to staff and senior managers. The other pe-requisite is that you are a "foody" our dishes are part of what we do, you will have an interest in food, understanding the provenance and ingredients so you can talk passionately about our dishes. Your Background… We're open to people with great people management skills and a background in running a restaurant / catering/ hospitality events. You will be an experienced people manager, used to setting up for events, running the event/servive, managing your hospitality/ front of house team and liaising directly with onsite clients.
