Security Manager - Rome Marriott Park Hotel Business unit: Varie Location: Italia/Roma Summary: The Russotti Gestioni Hotels Spa company, for its Rome Marriott Park Hotel , is looking for a skilled and experienced Security Manager to join our Team As a Security Manager, your role will be extremely important in guaranteeing the security and safety of the entire property, which includes loss prevention operations on a daily basis, protection of property assets, employees, guests, accident and fire prevention and response. You are the ideal candidate if you will ensure that all areas of the property are safe and secure while continually improving guest and employee satisfaction and maximizing the financial performance of the department. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and manage the hotel’s security and safety policies and procedures in compliance with Marriott International standards and local regulations, ensuring the safeguarding of the facility, property, and company assets; Oversee all security operations, including surveillance systems, access control, and emergency response protocols; Conduct regular risk assessments, identifying potential threats, and implementing preventive measures; Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and guest concerns, coordinating with local authorities when necessary; Maintain detailed records of security activities, incidents, and compliance efforts; Train, manage and motivate the Security Team to ensure high performance and professionalism to meet Marriott’s standards. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Security Management or equivalent in a related field such as Risk Management or Criminal Justice; Minimum of 7-10 years experience in a security leadership role, preferably from the Armed Forces field or in the international hospitality industry; Proven experience and knowledge of concierge and security outsourcing services; Strong knowledge of security systems, emergency response, and risk management; Familiarity with local laws, regulations, and safety standards; Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Compulsory knowledge of English (B2). Additional languages are a plus; Problem-solving, decision-making, and crisis management skills.
