Provide medical and post -surgical care to a wide variety of patients , including cardiac, neurological, pulmonary and infectious disease patients. Will not be required to provide care to pediatric patients. Units are supported by 24/7 Rapid Response Nurse and House Supervisor on off hours. Number of Beds – 3 rd floor 43 beds, 4 th floor 45 beds Number of Staff – Type of staff : Day Shift – RN’s PCA’s Unit secretary Night Shift – RN’s, PCA’s Unit secretary Patient Ratios – RN ratio 1: 5-6 Type of equipment – Alaris pumps, EPIC documentation Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have : Basic Medical Surgical experience. BLS EPIC competency Preferred or nice to have : List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Best personality Fit: Works well as part of a TEAM Able to function independently Dress Code : Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. Scrub Color - Navy scrubs only Tattoos must be covered Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines .
