This time, we're looking for a new adventure partner to join the Lime Tree team Our hotel is located in the heart of London, and we are looking to complete the team with a new person. Purpose of the position We are looking for a full-time Front Office Manager to oversee and supervise the front desk staff, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing front office policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations. Additionally, the Front Office Manager will manage guest reservations, check-ins, and check-outs, ensuring timely and accurate processing. What will you do? Ensure compliance with the Operation Manual and Room Mate hotels standards. Plan the management of the department and manage guest requirements. Ensuring that all members of the department have up-to-date information on the hotel's services and facilities as well as overseeing that the information in One Note is correct and up to date. Keeping the department informed on a daily basis about hotel occupancy, arrivals, departures and events in the hotel. To draw up schedules, plan holidays, absences and leaves of absence. Verify the allocation and follow-up of room status with Housekeeping and Maintenance. Allocate guest bookings taking into account their requirements and maintain a diary to track the allocation of special bookings in the future. Supervise daily closing and balancing, as well as monitoring the results of audits and audits. Perform administrative tasks for your department. Ensure the maintenance of your area and work material. Authorize material orders for consumption or manage the replacement of equipment. Ensuring the proper use of the department's equipment, managing expenses and maintaining stock of supplies. Participate in the training actions to which they are called. Ensure the training of the entire department in risk prevention, emergency protocols and environmental programmes. Manage the control of guest confirmation vouchers. Monitor daily booking and forecasting with Revenue and Reservations staff and report significant variations. Manage deviations and overbooking according to the CDO regarding these issues. Monitor room incidents as well as possible compensations based on established CDO. Distribute the tasks of the department according to the staff and team profile. Carry out operational service practices. Ensure the follow-up and resolution of any incident, which may hinder the timely closure of the system. Ensure the follow-up of quality audits, elaborate action plan, follow up and resolution. B e familiar with the user manual of the IT systems used by the department and ensure its knowledge by the members of the department. Participate in meetings of department heads to which he/she is called for operational and administrative management. Perform other tasks related to the department and required by the operation, at the request of the Hotel Management. What we are looking for? Strong Problem Solving. Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills. Should be able to deal with all types of customers and work under the pressure of being the only person in the hotel during some shifts.
