Deputy Night Manager

Collins Fresh Produce is a diverse food distribution business supplying the hospitality trade, education and care sector across the midlands with fresh produce, dairy, bakery, groceries and much more. What youll be doing In your role as night deputy manager, you will be working closely with the night shift manager to successfully coach and lead the team to complete all night operational procedures to a high standard and great customer service levels. This is a hands on role and all candidates will be required to be fully flexible within the role to meet business needs. Your responsibilities To oversee and where applicable ensure that Service Excellence is maintained and continuously improved in the order completion and delivery operation. In conjunction with the Nightshift manager; Encourage a culture to support ambition by driving improvements to accuracy and Productivity To ensure that the GOLD BAR process is robustly adhered to, carefully monitored and improved upon wherever possible. To effectively brief the nights team of any issues or requirements needed to ensure daily tasks, quality issues, customer requirements are understood. Ensure that the vehicle loading operation is undertaken safely in readiness for relevant driver start times Oversee the safe unloading, checking and put away of any night deliveries we receive. Ensure that all training and development matrix are up to date with all existing staff and new members of staff. To lead and oversee the running of the night operation when night shift manager is not on site. To be a proactive member of a forward-thinking business ADZN1_UKTJ
