Trainee Estimator About the Company 2Seck Recruitment Ltd are working with an established Building Contractor with a turnover of over £30 million per annum. They are looking to recruit a talented Trainee Estimator to join their team in Manchester City Centre, working on projects in the Construction Industry. Project values are typically between £½ million - £5 million. The company are involved in a variety of projects including Offices, Hotels & Airports. About the Role Your role will be estimating and tendering on projects in the Built environment. You will analyse proposals, specifications, drawings, samples and related documents, identify requirements and prepare appropriate tenders. You will offer technical and commercial support on projects. Your role will be mainly office based but willing to attend site visits when required. About You You will have gained some experience within the construction industry. You have a keen interest in Estimating or seeking a career as an Estimator. Someone with an eye for detail and good on computer systems. They will support your career development through mentoring, training and further academic training (training budget available) Ideally a Relevant Qualification in Construction (HND, BSc etc) What is on offer? On offer for this Trainee Estimator position: Basic salary in the region of £18,000 - £25,000 circa p.a. DOE Pension Holidays per annum plus Bank Holidays Apprenticeship / Training Allowance Consider this before applying You must be within 90 minutes commuting distance of Manchester city centre and not looking to relocate. You must already be eligible to live and work in the UK and not be seeking sponsorship at a later date.
