Research Director Full-time position - Based in Angers (France) or Paris / Home-Office (1 day / week). We are hiring a Research Director… Reporting to the Managing Director in France and in daily connection with the rest of the team based in Europe (Angers, Paris, Brussels) and in the US, you are active and fully autonomous in conducting the projects and relationships with your clients. You develop a portfolio of clients, both in France and internationally: briefing, proposals, on-boarding, support and analysis. You will oversee and manage 1 to 2 analysts, guiding them in their career development. You are active at all stages of our missions: project setup and data collection management with the Back office team, supervision of processes, integration of external data, analysis, report writing, creation of infographics, client presentations and recommendations, always ensuring client relations, adherence to deadlines, and the quality of deliverables. You also contribute to product development and the visibility of the company by proposing improvements to our offerings, communication actions, data storytelling (webinars), managing our client portfolio, AI integration. About you… Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in market research, data analytics, trend-based tracking and analysis, or similar. With a master’s degree or postgraduate level (ESC, Science Po, master’s degree in marketing / Statistics), you demonstrate rigour, precision, good analytical and synthesis skills. You have good interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and writing abilities. You are comfortable managing projects for French and international clients. You enjoy data analysis and can convert diverse data into relevant insights for your clients, providing added value. Beyond survey-based methodologies, knowledge or interest in using big data and social data is a plus. Independent, with a good team spirit, enthusiastic, and with a willingness to work with our internal and external resources (providers). Excel and PowerPoint hold no secrets for you Mastery of other software solutions in the field of data processing or reporting/visualisation is a plus (SPSS, Sphinx, Tableau, Power BI). You want to work in a highly international environment. A very good command of English is essential for this position. An interest in the travel sector is a must Experience in the sector is a plus
