This is an extremely rare opportunity to be one of the first hires at a newly established consumer growth equity firm located in unique space right on the beach in Venice, CA. Title: Associate – Branded Consumer Growth Equity Location: Venice, CA Start Date: Q1 2025 Opportunity: Our Client is a newly established $300 million AUM growth equity fund focused on investing in early stage branded consumer companies. The firm’s Partners have an exceptional investment track record, deep ties to the media and entertainment industries, and a sterling reputation of fostering a down-to-earth, entrepreneurial, collegial culture. Associates work directly with the firm's Partners to diligence and execute new investments and support portfolio company management efforts. In addition to providing capital, the firm is very hands-on with their portfolio companies and provides numerous services including talent management and recruiting, branding, marketing, field teams, distribution strategies, influencers, exit strategies, supply chains, operations and legal affairs. Qualifications: Total work experience of 2 - 3 years, including 2 years of investment banking experience A strong preference to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, collegial “in-person" environment Excellent organizational and communication skills Prior growth equity experience including sourcing, analyzing, leading diligence and financing processes and closing new investment opportunities Intellectual curiosity, detail orientation, critical thinking, and creative problem solving Strong work ethic, no ego and a willingness to roll-up your sleeves Impeccable ethics and integrity Comfort and ease interacting and communicating with C-suite executives Personal interest in the broader consumer, brand and marketing landscape If interested in this role, please reply with your resume.
