Regional Director

I am looking for a regional director to take full responsibility for a number of leisure businesses in and around the North West of England. An ideal base location for the region would be in the Greater Manchester area. This is a hugely exciting opportunity for a regional director where you will be tasked with driving the commercial and operational performance of the venues within your portfolio which have a combined turnover of c £80m per annum. The business operates at the premium end of the leisure sector, working within a very structured framework totally focused on delivering an exceptional guest experience. Key to success will be the ability to influence, coach and inspire your team of general managers to deliver the ways of working and meet the key commercial, operational and service metrics across the group. As a key member of the senior management team you will need to be politically astute and be able to immediately command the respect of your peers and those working at both board and group level. We are very keen to talk to candidates who have delivered successfully within a premium service driven multi-site operation and my client has identified the top end of the health and fitness, hotel, commercial leisure or hospitality sectors as having a very synergy with their own market. You will need to be able to demonstrate and articulate your successes managing a turnover no less than £40m per annum. My client is offering a highly competitive basic salary of c100K, a generous car allowance and a, strong performance related bonus package that will take your package to 140K with a wide ranging benefits package.
