Job Description
The Olympic and Paralympic Villages are the hearts of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, being the main home of athletes and primary team officials. The Villages Accommodation Services Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of accommodation services within a village setting, ensuring residents and guests receive exceptional service and support throughout their stay. This role involves overseeing various accommodation-related services to enhance the overall experience and satisfaction of residents. This position is crucial for the services deliverables in the Villages, providing a safe environment and welfare to residents in the Villages. This position is responsible for planning and managing residential services operations inside the Residential Areas of all the 6 Villages. Finalization of the concept for all villages is expected to be completed by Q2 of 2025, in order to communicate with NOC/NPC during the CdM Guide and Seminar. Additionally, planning and coordination of contractors for OVM, OVC, and OVP will be required. Key Responsibilities: Housekeeping Management: Plan and oversee all cleaning operations in all Villages (temporary facilities and existing hotels), including defining the service levels applied to the Housekeeping tender of 3 Olympic and Paralympic Villages. Define staff requirements and coordinate housekeeping staff schedules, tasks, and inventory management to ensure efficient operations. Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of linens, toiletries, and other supplies necessary for accommodations. Coordinate procurement and restocking as needed to meet demand. Laundries Management: Plan and oversee house laundry and resident laundries in all Villages (temporary facilities and existing hotels), guaranteeing extended service levels for an Olympic and Paralympic Village. Facilities Coordination: Collaborate with maintenance staff to address any maintenance or repair needs within accommodations, ensuring a safe and functional environment for residents. Clean & Waste Support (CNW): Serve as the main point of contact with the CNW functional area in coordination of cleaning services and operations in non-residential areas of the Villages and on waste management and collection plans. Quality Assurance: Implement and uphold quality standards for cleanliness and comfort within accommodations. Develop an overall plan for contractors/existing hotels to conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with organizational policies and residents’ expectations. Residential Services (Resident Centre): Support on the service levels planning of the Resident Centres in all villages, focusing on providing exemplary customer service to residents and establishing a communication structure for issue resolution during Games time. Team Leadership: Coordinate and support staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback to maintain high standards of professionalism and productivity.
