Your Mission : We are looking for a highly motivated Retail Controller EMEA to join our team based in Milan Reporting to the Group Controlling Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing the financial and operational activities of stores located in Italy, UK, Germany and France. This role requires a highly skilled professional to collaborate with the store management team and the finance department to ensure effective financial management and detailed performance control. The ideal candidate has a strong background in the retail industry and a deep understanding of financial metrics. In addition to Milan, this position can also be based in Cuneo. Key Responsibilities: Financial Analysis: Monitor and analyze the financial performance of stores, identifying significant variations and trends. Reporting: Prepare monthly Profit & Loss per shop and periodic updates. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, providing clear and concise insights into store financial performance. Reporting: Prepare monthly cash flow reports and relevant analysis for UK, Germany, and France entities. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the store management team to plan financial budgets and forecasts. Monitor adherence to financial targets and propose corrective actions when necessary. Inventory Control: Evaluate and optimize inventory levels in stores, ensuring they align with demand and there are no excesses or shortages. Profit Margin Analysis: Analyze gross and net profit margins of stores (calculating COGS per store), identifying areas for improvement and suggesting strategies to enhance profitability. Operational Expense Review: Monitor operational expenses of stores and work with the team to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies. Financial Compliance: Ensure all stores comply with financial policies and internal procedures. The Ideal Candidate: 3-5 years of experience in financial control within the retail sector or with one of the Big Four. Knowledge of financial metrics and accounting. Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field. Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities. Advanced proficiency in financial analysis software tools. Proficiency in English is a must.
