Supports all brands including, Eureka, La Popular, Amalfi Llama and Electric Pickle. Act as a liaison between the IT department, restaurant operators, and Support Center teams. This is an exempt position that reports to the Director of Information Technology and is based at the Support Center in Hawthorne, CA , with occasional travel to restaurant locations for technology implementations, audits, and support. Essential Job Functions Oversee the design, implementation, and management of IT systems, including POS, network infrastructure, Toast, Restaurant 365 and security systems. Manage IT budgets and work with Finance to re-forecast as necessary. Troubleshoot system issues and provide 24/7 support for restaurant operations as needed. Lead technology projects for new restaurant openings and system upgrades. Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency. Collaborate with vendors to ensure optimal service and cost-effective solutions. Develop training materials and coordinate training sessions for IT systems with restaurant teams. Ensure compliance with data privacy and cybersecurity regulations. Maintain hardware and software inventory, tracking system lifecycle for timely upgrades or replacements. Monitor system performance, identifying and resolving potential issues proactively. Position Responsibilities Communicate technology updates and initiatives to the Director of IT. Work with restaurant operators to ensure IT systems align with operational needs. Provide insights and recommendations during the budgeting process for technology projects. Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and protocols. Collaborate with third-party service providers to ensure high service levels. Analyze and report on technology trends and their potential impact on Eureka’s operations. Requirements Include Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science , or a related field (required). Minimum of five years of IT management experience, preferably in a multi-unit restaurant or retail environment. Proven expertise in project management and IT systems implementation. Experience/Expert with Toast POS and R365 is a must. Experience managing vendor contracts and relationships. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and cloud-based solutions. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Qualifications At least 21 years of age. Knowledge of industry-standard IT frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT) and cybersecurity best practices. Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. Physical Demands & Work Environment Position requires prolonged sitting, occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motions. Regular travel to restaurant locations is required, sometimes with short notice. Travel may involve driving and/or flights and could require overnight stays. Eureka brands are in 7 states, must be willing to travel extensively and as needed. Occasionally work in high-pressure environments requiring quick resolution of technology issues.
