Role Purpose To support the restaurant manager in delivering quality service across the unit To ensure a strong relationship is kept with customers To provide and maintain the highest standards of food & drink service To effectively utilise marketing materials provided To communicate effectively with your manager and team Main Responsibilities Creating a positive team atmosphere & customer environment Configuring counter & display spaces to make them attractive Ensuring QHSE standards are met and upheld by your team Assisting with administrative duties as required Stock taking and ordering Handling and organising of hospitality and events bookings Identify training requirements, and demonstrate training initiative Person Specification A flair for quality customer service A love of food & beverages and a knowledge of current trends Experience in a restaurant or café in a leadership capacity Strong communication skills A friendly attitude towards colleagues and customers HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT Follow Company policies and procedures at all times Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system About dmg::media dmg medias brands deliver highly engaging, trusted content to millions of loyal customers around the globe, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
