We pride ourselves on crafting unique establishments that offer friendly atmospheres, delectable food, and unforgettable experiences What Youll Do: As our New Openings Head Chef, youll work together with our Operations Team to manage new openings and oversee the setup and training of kitchen operations at all our exciting new locations. Your meticulous planning and organizational skills will empower your teams to work their culinary magic while ensuring our kitchens run profitably and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Lead the Charge: Manage back-of-house operations for new openings, collaborating with department heads to ensure smooth and successful launches. Training Maestro: Support the Operations Team in developing and updating training materials, ensuring everyone is equipped for success. Quality Control: Act as the go-to troubleshooter for food quality and training at the site level, delivering top-notch culinary experiences. Operational Excellence: Provide innovative back-of-house solutions, delivering high levels of support and training to your teams. Consistency is Key: Ensure food quality and company standards are met consistently, with fully trained, motivated staff driving our success. What Were Looking For: Experience: Multi-site hospitality experience as an Area Chef or Openings Chef, with a proven track record of opening new pubs. Expertise: At least 10 years of professional kitchen experience, currently at the Senior Sous Chef level, with a background in pub/restaurant openings and full-service operations. Menu Engineering: Strong skills in menu engineering, focusing on labour, cross-utilization, and SKU management. Leadership: A strategic thinker who values collaboration, with the ability to build credible relationships quickly and lead effective training sessions. Creativity & Problem-Solving: You bring a creative flair and exceptional problem-solving capabilities. Self-Starter: Organized, self-motivated, and possessing a strong work ethic, with excellent communication skills and a commercial approach to kitchen management.
