Job Role: Junior Sous Chef - Pastry Location: South West London Sector: Events Salary: £32,000 - £34,000 Basic with OTE £38,000 - £40,000 We are working with a very high end Events company based in South London looking for a Junior Sous Chef in Pastry to showcase Fine Dining and the very best Events on offer The role covers all areas of Pastry in Events and Production. We can offer a basic salary of £32,000 - £34,000 Benefits - £32,000 - £34,000 Basic starting salary for 40 hours plus OTE up to £38-40k Personal Day to explore activities or learning options in addition to holiday allowance Yearly Bonus 28 Days Holiday 3/4 Days over Christmas in addition to holiday allowance and then chance to earn extra holiday up to 258 Work at amazing locations and venues Parking available on site You will work Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm as core hours and then expect to work up to 3 evenings on busy weeks and approx 1 in 3 Weekends as well. All the hours after your contracted 40 are paid as overtime so you have potential to earn up to 30% on your salary The Junior Sous in Pastry will work under a Head Pastry Chef and be creating Plated desserts, Dessert Canape's, and create all desserts for large functions. Other Benefits include: Yearly Company Bonus, Personal Day off to use as you wish in addition to holiday allowance, Cycle to work Scheme, The Junior Sous Chef in Pastry will have a strong Events background and should be able to demonstrate cooking to the highest level in previous roles. A Michelin or Rosette background would also be preferred as well as the ability to multi task and lead several events at the same time. Experience with a large Event Company would be very beneficial Based in the Main Kitchen in South London you will also be required to travel to functions around London.
