If you thrive in a collaborative environment and have a flair for creating delicious dishes, we want to hear from you Position: Head Chef Salary: £30,000 per year Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:30 - 15:00 Key Responsibilities: Menu Development and Food Preparation Create innovative and seasonal menus that cater to customer preferences and align with the restaurant's vision. Oversee the preparation and presentation of dishes to ensure quality and consistency. Monitor and control portion sizes and food costs to achieve financial targets set by the General Manager Stay updated on food trends and incorporate them into the menu where appropriate. Operational Management Manage inventory, including ordering and stock rotation, to minimise waste. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all kitchen areas in compliance with health and safety regulations. Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report any repairs or replacements needed. Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure a seamless guest experience. Financial Responsibility Monitor kitchen budgets and manage food costs effectively. Identify opportunities to optimise resources and reduce expenses. Analyse sales and customer feedback to adjust menus and pricing strategies.
