Job Title: Sales Manager Location: City of London, UK Salary: £38,000 per annum £9,000 bonus potential Employment Type: Full-time About the Venue: We are a prominent venue in the City of London, offering a restaurant, bar and variety of event spaces perfect for corporate, private, and special events. Our venue is known for its prime location, unqiue spaces and exceptional service, and we are looking for a driven and dynamic Sales Manager to help us build on our success. Position Overview: As the Sales Manager, you will play a key role in nurturing existing relationships while actively seeking new business opportunities for the venues event spaces. You will work closely with the wider operational team to achieve targets and contribute to the venue's continued success. This position requires an outgoing individual with strong organisational and communication skills, a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, and a proven track record in sales. Key Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring they continue to choose our venue for their events. New Business Development: Proactively seek out new business opportunities, including corporate clients, event planners, and agencies. Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals, focusing on both short- and long-term growth. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the in-house team and larger site team to ensure seamless coordination and the successful delivery of events. Event Planning Support: Provide sales support throughout the event planning process, ensuring client expectations are met and exceeded. Reporting & Forecasting: Regularly update sales reports, track progress against targets, and collaborate with leadership to forecast future business. Market Knowledge: Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging opportunities in the events sector. Qualifications: Proven experience in sales, preferably within the events, hospitality, or venue management industry. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage clients at all levels. A proactive and outgoing personality with a passion for delivering excellent customer service. Experience working with CRM tools or event management systems is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ambitious and self-motivated with a desire to grow within the company. A flexible and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of a busy venue.
