We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated In-Room Dining Order Taker to join our esteemed team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for guests placing in-room dining orders, ensuring a seamless and exceptional dining experience within the comfort of their rooms. Key Responsibilities: Efficiently handle guest orders via telephone, ensuring accuracy and promptness. Coordinate with the kitchen and service teams to facilitate timely delivery of orders. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the menu, including daily specials and dietary options, to assist guests effectively. Ensure all guest requests and preferences are noted and communicated appropriately. Uphold the hotel's standards of service excellence and authenticity in every interaction. Qualifications: Previous experience in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant environment is preferred. Strong communication skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. A genuine passion for food and beverage, with a good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices. Relevant NVQ or professional qualifications are advantageous but not essential. To be successful in your application you will already have experience from within a luxury service environment along with an excellent understanding of the 5-star hospitality industry.
