Head Waiter/Waitress Reporting to Head Waitress/Club Manager. Aim of the role as a Head Waiter / Waitress To assist Manager on duty on the organisation and supervision of service in the Restaurant / Lounge Opening / closing Conduct briefings / trainings Lead events / private dinners To be confident that the service is at all times performed in a professional manner and to the style as specified by the Manager on duty / Line Manager To be fully conversant with every dish served in the Restaurant and to provide a confident explanation if requested. To communicate with other Restaurant staff and departments in a respectful manner. To make sure that Company Policy and the Vision Statement are followed and always utilised. To be aware and confident of your product knowledge of all services offered in the Nexus Club London To ensure that all guests wishes are met so far as is reasonably possible. Showing passion and pride for the Nexus Club London. To do mise en place, cleaning and service in the Restaurant. Understanding the importance of teamwork and flexibility within your role. To ensure that all tasks set are completed in the time allocated and to the standard set by the Manager To report all comments/complaints/problems to the Head Waiter/DM, showing integrity and discretion. To liaise with the Head Waiter to ensure and be confident that the preparations and mise en place are correct and to the standard set by the Manager. Ensure to ware wear company watch and be available for customer calls/service at the all time s . Stay Be ready to handle various service tasks, whether its food service, drink preparation, or special requests. Ensure you are equipped to prepare coffee and basic cocktails if required, to support the bar team. To assist the Head Waiter in ensuring the station is ready for service. Always be prepared to manage floor service, including table setup, taking orders, serving food, and providing exceptional customer care. To always be prepared for the service in Cafeteria, Floor, Bar, Club lounge and Terrace. To ensure that service is always discrete and efficient using your integrity. Wear a neat and professional uniform, ensuring it meets the club's standards. To be passionate about attending all trainings, briefings and meetings.
