Job Description
Role: Events Operations Coordinator Location: Victoria, London (Hybrid, 3 days in office, 2 days at home) Salary: £28k - £30k OTE About Us The International Quality and Productivity Centre (IQPC) are devoted to creating and executing content driven B2B events for senior executives globally. These invitation-only conference and networking events facilitate face-to-face interactions, pre-qualified lead generation, thought leadership, networking, and brand awareness in niche markets, providing efficient solutions for both end users and service/solution providers. About the Role IQPC Exchange is looking for an Events Operations Manager to join the team. The main purpose of the role is to ensure the smooth running, successful management and delivery of our exchange events from planning to execution. Responsibilities of the Event Manager will include: As the Event Operations Manager you will be responsible for all pre-event communication with sponsors & delegates, scheduling of one-to-one business meetings and delivery of the event. Responsibilities include; Main liaison with all clients in the run up to the event, gathering necessary documents and materials in time for deadlines Set-up and delivery of one-to-one business meetings, managing meeting invites and scheduling diaries. Event delivery Session links/venue set-up, drinks receptions, lunches, private dinners, accommodation Close internal communication with event team to ensure deliverables are met Handling any logistical questions regarding travel and accommodation if required Ensuring all speakers are prepared for the event and have presentations/ links ready Main point of contact with the venues once the contract has been signed Budget management - Staying within budget for food & beverage, bedrooms, room rental, entertainment & travel Organising all AV requirements & external suppliers On-site management at events with the opportunity to travel to Europe and US Qualities and Skills Required Events management Degree or equivalent work experience 1 years experience or internship preferred, ideally gained within the b2b sector Ability to work independently and under pressure Outstanding organisational, prioritisation and multi-tasking skills Exceptional interpersonal skills and a true team-player Excellent communicator, verbal and written Self-driven, results-oriented, with a positive outlook What we offer you: Full training for the role through in-house managers and peers as well as workshops led by external coaches A hybrid work environment with an office in central London (3 days in office / 2 days at home) Career growth opportunities within the company as you gain more experience A supportive and fair work environment with equal opportunities for all Opportunity to travel internationally to events (Europe and US) 25 days holiday entitlement per year (plus 1 extra day for each full year of service up to a max. of 30 days) Health Cash Plan providing a range of wellbeing benefits Life Assurance Scheme Optional Pension Scheme (3% employer contribution, 5% employee contribution) Access to Victoria Privilege Card (discounts at local retailers, restaurants, etc) ADZN1_UKTJ
