Job Description

Are you currently with a consultancy but keen to make the move to a client-side role? Interested in working on a renowned estate featuring some of the area's most iconic buildings? Do you have Fire Safety & Compliance experience? Beach Baker is thrilled to partner with a prominent, long-established institution in Bristol seeking to add an in-house Building Surveyor to its team. About the Role: You'll join an established Estates team, handling maintenance, alterations, and improvement projects on a unique and diverse portfolio that includes some of the most prominent buildings in the region. Projects range in value, with budgets up to £1 million, with a particular focus on fire safety and compliance works. About You: The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, ideally relating to fire safety. Proven experience in project management delivery within a building surveying role, particularly in a multi-disciplinary environment. A team-oriented approach and strong multitasking abilities. Building Surveyor or Construction degree (or equivalent). Employee Benefits: 32 days of annual leave plus bank holidays. Flexible working hours (35-hour work week).
