Entry Level Fundraiser Are you looking for the ideal summer job? Would you like to work at the home and headquarters of the charity? We are looking for a seasonal fundraiser to work at the beautiful Lodge Nature reserve for the 2025 summer season, and it could be you You don’t have to have fundraising experience, as full training will be provided. Position: Fundraiser Ref: JAN20255294 Location: UKHQ - The Lodge Hours: Full-Time Salary: £24,890.00 - £26,720.00 per Annum Contract: 6 months Closing Date: Sun, 9th Feb 2025. Located 1 mile away from Sandy railway station in the heart of Bedfordshire, The Lodge Reserve is a diverse mix of Heath, Farm, Grass, and Woodlands attracting a whole host of iconic species. The Lodge is nationally known as the headquarters of the charity and home to a variety of activities providing a work place for many and place to walk with your family or watch the nature in the heart of Bedfordshire. A long term plan of replacing non-native trees with Oak and Birch supports the return of this incredible area of habitat to its former glory. The Lodge is truly an idyllic workplace. The team at The Lodge have been delivering exemplary visitor experience for over 60 years, making the reserve a serious opportunity for fundraising and membership recruitment. As a core part of both the Lodge and the Face to Face membership teams, you be working alongside staff and volunteers to welcome visitors to the reserve and enthuse them about the conservation importance of the site. You will be expected to role model best practices for reserve fundraising to inspire new memberships for the charity. You will receive: A 7-month contract that suits you – choose between 3, 4, and 5 days per week (7.5 hours on-site per day). A set salary, rather than working to commission. 34 days’ annual leave (including eight bank holidays (pro-rata for work pattern and length of contract)) Full training and comprehensive induction. The 7-month contract will commence with training in March and active fundraising from April through to September. There will be a probation period of 3.5 months.
