Advert Senior Refuse & Recycling Operative (6) Various Locations in Dumfries and Galloway Harthill Depot, Lockerbie x 1 Cargen Tower, Dumfries x 2 Abercromby Depot, Castle Douglas x 2 Culhorn Depot, Stranraer x1 £26,766 - £28,419 Duties will include:- Driving of Refuse, Recycling, Food Waste, Garden Waste, White Goods/Bulky vehicles. Refuse and Recycling, Food Waste, Garden Waste, Bulky/White Goods Collection/loading duties. Ensuring collection of refuse & recycling routes on a daily basis in a safe and efficient manner adhering to Health & Safety and Safe Working Procedures. Other tasks relating to Waste Collection Services functions. An excellent opportunity has arisen for recruitment within Economy & Infrastructure. Facilities, Waste & Neighbourhood Services. We deliver a wide variety of frontline services and require 6 Senior Refuse & Recycling Operatives at various depots across Dumfries & Galloway. You will be educated to Standard Grade Level. You must hold a current Class C, HGV Licence, and a valid Driver CPC. You will be expected to carry out various duties as instructed by the Waste Supervisor and have a working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements. You will be required to work as a team member.
