Casualty Claims Handler Manchester Salary £35K Hybrid working (3 days office, 2 days working from home) Our client is an independent broker who is looking to expand its Manchester office with an experienced Casualty Claims Handler. The Role: Reporting to the Claims Director, as a Casualty Claims Handler you will manage a portfolio of Casualty losses, including Employers and Public Liability claims. You will be working with a variety of clients from different industry's including Retail, Construction, Leisure and Hospitality. There is no upper limit in value to these losses, so your caseload will be allocated on technically competencies. Whilst there is no delegated authority, this is by no means a post-box service. You will present losses to insurers, manage the progress of the lifecycle and negotiate and challenge the settlement terms. The Required Skills: To be considered as a Casualty Claims Handler, you will be expected to have a strong technical standing in Casualty claims, from a broker or insurer. You will be confident in communicating with clients, insurers and relevant third parties. This is an excellent opportunity to build on your technical knowledge and expertise and help support and mentor less experienced colleagues.
