Here is an opportunity is to be part of HCL Technologies Role definition You will support Operations Infrastructure and represent HCL in customers control centers, solving issues and providing support to the software and infrastructure at these sites. This role requires an onsite presence for approximately 3 days a week and is subject to change depending on client requirements This role will be part of an out of hours on-call rota Expected qualification and critical experiences - BAU engineer based on customer sites to support critical national infrastructure services. Perform queue-based hardware, software and user fault management within predefined SLAs Out of hours support rota once trained Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to work in a pressurized environment Some hybrid working available. Mandatory Education, Skills & certification - Excellent knowledge of RHEL, Redhat Satellite, Ansible Automation Platform Experience in SFTP, HAProxy, DNS, Networking Responsible for OS Updates and Upgrade of Minor, Major versions, Apply Security Patches through automation. Excellent experience in day-to-day tasks in Redhat Linux including upgrading RPMS, kernel, HBA Driver, configure SAN Disks, Multipathing and LVM filesystems. Working on root cause analysis (Problem Management) and maintains high level security for servers. Keep the servers with industry security standards, Apply ITIL process throughout the lifecycle of server administration and implementations (Incident, Change, Problem Management) Responsible for Backup and restore OS through native tools like ReaR backup. Responsible for preparing and keeping up to date Golden images/backup for DR activities. Experience in Building and migrating Physical and Virtual servers (Hyper-V and VMware) Responsible for Creating and updating the content management (contentView), maintain Redhat Releases for patching in Satellite servers. Responsible for Create a new VLANs and Hostgroups for relevant content view in Satellite through Ansible Automation. Desirable Skills - Citrix 7.15 or above, PVS or NetScaler Microsoft System Center Orchestrator (Scorch) PowerShell CyberArk IT Service Now SQL, NetBackup, Rubrik Windows 2016 2019, Oracle Benefits A supportive, diverse and global team with a brilliant culture.
