The Role As a Quality and Lean CI Engineer at Airedale by Modine, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence through the implementation and continuous improvement of quality systems and lean methodologies. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will identify opportunities to enhance process efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure high standards of product quality are maintained. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications. Lead and support Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes to drive operational efficiency and waste reduction. Use Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, etc.) to analyse processes and identify areas for improvement. Facilitate problem-solving workshops and root cause investigations to resolve quality issues and process inefficiencies. Collaborate with production teams, quality engineers, and management to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) when necessary. Work directly with large data centre customers to understand and address their specific quality needs and requirements, ensuring products meet their high standards. Provide technical support to customers regarding product quality, process improvements, and troubleshooting of any quality-related issues. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key data centre customers, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction with Airedale by Modine's products and services. Drive a culture of continuous improvement and foster a mindset of operational excellence across the site. Key Responsibilites Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Proven experience in a Quality or Continuous Improvement role within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of Lean methodologies and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001). Experience with tools such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and Root Cause Analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
