Sous Chef Luxury Hotel, Leicestershire Salary: Up to £42,000 per year Hours: 40 hours per week Accommodation: Live-in available An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at a prestigious luxury hotel in Leicestershire. This role offers the chance to work in a fine dining environment, delivering exceptional cuisine in both the restaurant and banqueting operations. Key Responsibilities: Support the Head Chef in managing the kitchen team and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen. Oversee the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in line with the hotels standards. Assist in menu development, showcasing seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in all kitchen areas. Lead and inspire the team to deliver outstanding dining experiences for both restaurant and banqueting guests. Ideal Candidate: Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a fine dining environment, preferably within a luxury hotel. Rosette experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of banqueting and restaurant service. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. A passion for delivering exceptional cuisine and mentoring junior chefs.
